ProRes422 audio problems w/ QuickTime X.

We use AJA KiPro recorders here.

Files have audio problems in QuicktimeX- audio sounds phasey and out of sync. The same files play just fine in QT7 however. Does anyone have information on this? A workaround, besides QT7?

Many of our clients aren't that spohisticated regarding their recordings. They are going to hit "play" with whatever they have installed on their computers.

The first rule of working with clients is to educate them.

So this is actually about how video plays on other computers, not yours, and about how other people use there own machines not yours?

Give them a DVD build file or DVD disc > tell them to load it into Apple DVD Player

Export as H264 or mp4 or anything else you can encode to and test, see if that will play
