Q: I have iBook G4  1.33 mhz. I have been able to connect wirwlessly at home and to other public networks in coffee places etc. In the last two days I can't connect even to my network at home although my other two computers are connecting fine.

My iBookG4 won't connect to my home wireless network although I had previously no problem. I am using my iBook in public places for blogging. I never had a problem connecting wirelessly to public networks but two days ago something happened while trying to go online. The airport is on. I should be connected yet the connectivity diagnostics says that there is no network available. Everytime I try to go online I run the diagnostics check but I can't solve the problem. I have two other computers that are connected wirelessly and they are running fine. So that means that there is no problem with the rooter. Any suggestions? Thank you

I had an AirPort Card fail in my iBook G3 800 MHz. It could be a failure of the AirPort Extreme Card. This is a rare thing to happen, but it does happen once in awhile.

Another possibility is the antenna cable could be broken or pinched in the hinge.
