Q: After receiving a notice that my ICloud account was going to be canceled if I didn't upgrade to a paid account I contracted for more storage---now you tell me I needn't have done that for another year ?

The late notice of a continuation of ICloud storage to mobile me members has proven useless to me---Why was I notified a few weeks ago that my Icloud account was going to be disappeared if I didn't buy more storage ?
