Do you still have access to the old e-mail address? If so, see below.
Enter your Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
Apple ID - If iCloud asks for the password to your previous Devices, but will work with computers
If necessary, there is a contact link.
Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.
OS X Version 10.9.5
I have changed the email address on my Apple ID but the old email address keeps coming up for ICloud and it won't recognise my new address or password. How do I get rid of the old email address that is no longer in use???
You need Lion OSX 10.7.2 minimum to access iCloud, which version of OSX are you on?
Hi drkm,
Are you looking to sign into iCloud, or set up preferences? If you are looking to set up preferences, it is under System Preferences/Internet and Wireless. If you are looking to sign in, you have to go to icloud.com via your browser.

Are you running Lion or Mountain Lion?
hi Csound1
mine is macbook pro running on mountain lion
Go to System Preferences
There IS no icloud icon on the dock or menu bar. It's only in System Preferences.
Right,
As I indicated in my original response, you access iCloud on your Mac via your browser....there is no icon.

I have the same issue - no iCloud icon in System Preferences. When I go to iCloud.com and log in with my Apple ID, a window pops up saying: to use Icloud, first set it up with your Apple ID on a device with iOS or or a MAC with OS X...". The set up instructons say I need to click the iCloud icon, but again, I cannot see one - there's only "mobileMe" one.
Any syggestions?
My MacBook Pro runs on OS X 10.6.8
thanks!
iCloud needs 10.7.2 minimum, you have to upgrade from 10.6.8, OK?
