My airport base station has a permeant solid amber light. Ive tried resetting it etc but nothing happens. Its not even detected by the airport utility app. I have an internet connect that is working fine using another router for the time being.

My airport base station has a permeant amber light and is not even discoverable using the airport utility app. Ive tried resetting it but this did nothing. My internet is fine as am currantly using another router to connet to the internet.

Unfortunately this means that the base station is in lock-up mode indicating that there is an internal electrical failure - it will have to be replaced.
