spacing in notes

Notes has started doing strange things. First I couldn't get it to sync (but I got that problem fixed). Now, when I add anything to a note on my iPhone 4S (version 6.0), it double spaces everything I write. However, when I look at the note (or enter a note) on my computer or iPad, the note is NOT double-spaced. I can't find any setting to change the spacing.

HELP!!!!

Thanks!

I found a solution. Although I couldn't find a way to fix it using my iPhone, it's an easy fix on your computer if you're using a Mac. I just opened up Notes and found the corresponding notes with formatting/spacing issues, copied them into TextEdit, then clicked Format, and Make Plain Text. This removes all formatting. Then I copied and pasted it back to the original note, replacing the old formatted note. Hope this helps.

Tried it again.

It IS a NOTEPAD/Apple issue.

I have IE 9 on my PC.

When I copy a note from iCloud in the browser into NOTEPAD it doubles.trebbles the number of blank spaces.

Edit it and copy it around a bit and you can get sometimes more, sometines fewer spaces.

To fix it, edit on the iPhone by deleting all spaces up to the text on the above line.

A bug for Apple to fix here I think.

This just started happening to me a this past weekend. It is really annoying and hard to deal with. The spacing is perfect on my mac. I have tried adjusting everything to different sizes by selecting all text and setting the size up.

It looks right on the Mac, but both the ipad and iphone have the same wonky spacing. It is like there is some special formatting character in the mix that I can't see. I need word perfect like reveal codes so i can delete the item that is changing the format.

Thank you Owens5150!! I've had this annoying problem for a quite a while now using Notes on my iCloud, and from there connecting to my iPhone, and iPad.

It usually happens when I cut and paste info into my notes from somewhere else (like, anywhere else) on the iPad or iPhone. I can now fix it in my iCloud by selecting and pasting it into Word, fixing the spacing there, cut and paste it back -- and there it is. I did find the font changes but that's ok, I'll fix that again in Word before pasting it back in.

YEAH!!!
