Apple doesn't support flash files. However you could try downloading an app which will be able to let you watch them. I think the opera browser will let you.

Adobe has not made a version of Flash for the iPad.

You can try an app called ROVER, they are all a little slow, but there is a few out there, this is what my son uses for his school math programs.
I love puffin. Worth it for school mods that use flash. Try the free lite version(15min of flash). If you like it, buy it. Well worth 2.99usd.

It claims its the fastest browser. It is quicker than safari. I only use it when I need flash. Can't answer why.
