Q: My iPod screen got dis-aligned. Never dropped or something. The upper right tip curve is a bit open. Will it affect the whole unit?

I bought it 4months ago, if I will bring it again to the storre, is it possible for them to replace it? Thank you for answering my questions/

I already called apple and the senior service told me to send him the photo of my iPod to check if it replaceable or what.But still has no reply. How long will it take me to wait? This matter really bothers me.

And also I went to their store and according to one of their staff, they will not replace it. but as far as I know the warranty still covers everything. Also sometimes, my iPod gets hot, would it be the cause why my iPod screen opened? maybe the battery inside is slowly getting bigger? I didn't overchagred it.
