Tried to install Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and it comes up with the following message, Mac OS X Update Combined can't be installed on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update. How do I fix this?

Reboot the computer and when you hear the startup tone hold down the Option key and choose the Restore Partition. Then start Disk Utility - Repair Permissions and run this 2 times. Next click Repair Disk, if any errors are found run Repair Disk until no errors are found. If you continue to get errors after the 3rd attempt your HD is probably failiing and need replacement. Exit DU, restart the computer normally and retry the update.
I just spent some time with support at Apple - it appears that the if you are starting with 10.8.1 they have 'shut down' the update, as there is a glitch. The assure me it will be fixed within the next couple of days.
Open App Store, select Purchases and download Mountain Lion again. You don't use the final build
Go to > About this Mac and copy Software

You have a pre-release Mountain Lion. Go to http://developer.apple.com to download OS X Mountain Lion for free if you're developer
I purchased a refurbished iMac from apple, with the purchase I was able to upgrade it to Mountain Lion. But now I am getting these messages when I try to update
I am currently redownloading OS X Mountain Lion from the App Store. Should I just reinstall it over the original Mountain Lion?
Do I have to uninstall anything first?

Ok, it finished downloading. Now it's saying "Continue to setup the installation of OS X 10.8". Is that right? I thought it would be 10.8.2?
