If you want to use Compressor to make the disk, put your separate clips into a single FCPX project, separated by gaps. Export that project (sequence) using "export media" and bring the resultant QT file into Compressor. Set chapter makers at the gaps and name them. The menu will be very basic, but you will be able to have limited navigation.

If you want full-featured menus and navigation, you'll need either EOL authoring software like iDVD (in which case, Compressor is not necessary), or DVD Studio Pro. Or use a third party solution like Roxio Toast or (much more $) Adobe Encore.

Good luck.

But is Compressor 4 able to write the dvd on disk?

I ask that because I created a project in FPCX with chapter markers, sent it to Compressor, choosed make DVD settings and let it work.

When successfully finished, Compressor created a m2v file, but neither tried to master the file on dvd...

Now, have I to use disk utility or other software to master the DVD or what?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Well, good question.

The job is now done and complete, and I can't get that info...

But I remember that I dragged the DVD setting to the project, without changing anything. Output device is my dvd recorder built in my mac (pioneer....).

I choosed only MPEG2 instead of Dolby Digital on the left bank...

Ahh I saw that. After dragging settings, i DO HAVE to choose what to do when done... that is Burn the DVD... I touched nothing there, so I think that it did nothing... I thought that choosing CREATE DVD was enough...

Or maybe becouse I added a M4V file and not a M2V file to compressor??

Thanks a lot for your kind reply (ies)
