Oct 8, 2012 6:08 PM in response to Waleed550by gtshepherd,The mention of DNS settings made me look further into that. Specifically whose DNS server is 8.8.8.8. Turns out it is Google. Maybe this is nothing at all, but considering how Apple & Google get along right now, and how busy Google servers can be, I switched my settings to another free DNS server, 4.2.2.2 and I immediately connected to the iTunes store. I just hope this 'fix' is one that stays. After all, how can one connect to anything without a reliable DNS server. I also checked and found my Macbook uses the same DNS as the wireless router. I suggest using the same setting as your router.

Dec 6, 2012 6:36 AM in response to ttwarrior1by gtshepherd,On your iphone. Select settings.
Select WiFi.
Select your connection, it has a check mark beside it on the left of the ISP name, tap on the arrow to the right hand side of the ISP name.
On this screen you should see one selection DNS just below the selection Router.
Tap on the number for DNS and the keypad pops up. Change the DNS number to the same number as the one above it for the Router.
If the numbers are already the same, then change the number to 4.2.2.1
Does this help?

Dec 6, 2012 3:31 PM in response to Waleed550by Alcamsco,Guess what ?
I have just been in Spain for two weeks and have updated my apps regularly. Now I have returned I get the error message again!
Why is it the Spanish connection doesn't cause the same error message? Come on Apple try and sort it!
I am now back to changing the date by a day forward, month forward or by a year. As long as I act quickly to update each app it works, but not for long before the date needs to be changed again.

Jan 2, 2013 8:23 PM in response to Waleed550by Mortybob,First, try updating your operating system to iOS 6.0.1
If that does not help,
This worked for me:
- Go to Home Page
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "General"
- Scroll down and tap "Reset"
- Tap "Reset network settings"
- Your iPhone should then restart, and you should be able to access the App Store and iTunes.

Oct 6, 2013 2:09 AM in response to gail from maineby LizP2011,Have been visiting forums and communities looking for people with similar problems, hoping someone would respond! Have tried all kinds of "solutions" Tried Settings, ITunes And Apps Store, view Apple ID, ensure region setting is right. Tried logging out and re log in. Tried changing DNS setting to 8.8.8.8, Tried resetting ( from Network Settings, reset All Contents, Even to, in desperation, Erase all ( thinking I could restore from iCloud but I lost all my photos!).
I tried connecting through App Store, Through Itunes from home page..it goes as far as saying your ID is only for the UK store and you will be redirected..I wait and wait and the US store pops up...
Please help!
