I am not getting audio out of my television after connecting the HDMI cable to my computer. The images mirror fine but the audio is coming from my computer. I used this same computer and cable on my tv over a month ago and it worked fine. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this. My computer is a Macbook Pro OS X Lion 10.7.4. if that helps

Since you say that tis worked before, and assuming that nothing has changed (any updates, or other types of changes) you might try a nvpram reset: Power off the MBP, power back up holding the following keys, option, command, P,R (no commas) these keys need to pressed and held before the start chime. Hold these keys till you hear the start chime 2 times then release. Reboot. See if this helps.
