Siri movie showtimes stopped working... Help?

Bumped. Same here in Ontario.

Same problem in Saskatchewan. When I ask for nearby theatres it tells me it can't find any nearby (Regina, SK). A week ago it worked, and would tell me it found four nearby theatres and would give me showtimes.

Exact same problem here. When I first got the iPhone 5 i loved the move feature and figured it would be one of the Siri features I would use the most. Then BAM a few days ago it is incapable of finding any movie theatres (surprising given it could at least give me a listing found through maps) or movie times. Additionally when i ask about movies playing it says I don't see any movie showtimes for today, then gives a random movie poster. help apple, this makes no sense.

It appears that it is now fixed and I am getting results for movie showtimes once again!

Now if only I get an answer other than "I don't know about Canadian Football" when asking about the CFL!

Same here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I loved that feature but then it just stopped. It hasn't come back for me yet, either.

mine actually worked for about a day as well. Now it's back to not working (i.e. it can't find what i'm looking for but then wow! here is a random movie you didn't care about!)

Same for me in Winnipeg. Was working flawless for the week iPhone 5 came out then the movie search function in Siri crapped out.

I actually think it is not Siri. She tries to pull up info. I actually think wherever she gets her movie data in Canada perhaps changed it's reference location and she no longer can access it.

I just deduced this from the fact she does pull up an obscure movie synopsis for everyone but she doesn't pull up showtimes near anyone.

Mine is not working either. I have tried rebooting the device but that hasn't corrected the issue. Is this issue carrier specific? I'm with Bell. I'm new to the forum, is there a way to create a ticket with Apple on this?

Siri's restaurant search still works great but I don't care about that. I like movies and this was a great feature. It was much quicker than even Flixter, which I have gone back to now.

I doubt that anybody from Apple actually reads these "Support" communities - especially if it's filled with wihiners like me from a minor market such as Canada. If it the problem is easily fixed, you can simetimes get support from this community of fellow users, but I really think this is just a place where Apple sends us to blow off steam and not bother them.

When there really is a flaw that only Apple can fix, they rarely admit to it. And they're still promoting the movie search as a working feature of Siri, so why don't they fix it?

Same here for the last week. I just get an obscure movie synopsis. Used to work all the time.
