i keep getting security code invalid
i have checked the credit card various times and even tried to use a new one, reinstall the software and nothing works

let them know about the invalid security code. they need to change something on your acct from before to allow new cc information
once that clears, you should be able to enter new cc info

You have to update your billing information on the Apple Web Site, not in itunes or from you application store. The issue is that Apple iTunes keeps adding the additional 4 digit zip code and it will reject your card security id.
So if your zip code is 40221, you hit done on the billing info page and you look and it reads 40221-2323. This is where it's rejects your security code. I just went to the web site and finally it worked.
