email says my iCloud upgrade is being continued for another year, but my icloud storage shows as being the standard 5GB. How do I get the extra storage to show up?

How do I get my iOS devices to see my extra storage?

I have exactly the same question - I got the email, but checking revealed just the standard 5GB.

As a thank you to our former MobileMe members, we will continue to provide you with this complimentary storage upgrade at no charge, for an additional year, until September 30, 2013. No action is required on your part. For complete details, please read this article.

To check which storage upgrade you received:

On an iOS device: Go to Settings > iCloud > Account.

Can you check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.

If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support (MobileMe Support is no longer available) and you may be asked to pay a fee: in this case you should ask them to deal with it without cost (and hope they agree).
