I have a ringtone on my computer in itunes. what do I have to do to get this ringtone onto my iphone
I have synced my phone but the ringtone doesn,t transfer

From what I remember, there should be a category inside the iTunes sidebar labeled "ringtones" when you connect your iPhone to your computer. You just need to drag the sound file into that category, provided that it is in the right format.

Thanks for the info on you tube. I have made another ringtone but if is transferring to my iPhone I am unable to find it.
I told my wife I had made a ringtone but couldn't get it to transfer. She came to the computer click click it is transfered. It happened so quickly I am not sure what she did.
If your ringtone transfer is successful, go to Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > right at the top of the list.
