upgrade ios 2.2.1

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my first generation ipod touch to current ios software. I do have the latest iTunes 10.7 (64 bit windows software). Still seem to be unable to get to a higher version of ipod touch software. I'm not against paying for it as well.

The very first iPod Touch can run version 3.1.3. It is a paid upgrade.

You have to sync it with iTunes. iTunes will tell you that a later version is available.
