can anyone help me?

I'm trying to configure my iphone 3gs and my screen seems to be unreponsive to touch but only on the main page, and enabling location page or when i pull up the keyboard it only lets me type letters c,x,and b. If anyone can give me any info about this, i would greatly apprecate it.
