I would like to transfer my music from iTunes on my PC to iTunes on my Macbook Pro using my iPod. I consolidated my music, movies, etc. into my iTunes Media folder. I then copied my iTunes Media folder onto my iPod after removing music files from my iPod. I did not copy my iTunes folder that contains the iTunes Media folder onto my iPod because that folder was too large. My iTunes folder contains the following folders and files: Album Artwork, iPod Games Folder, iTunes Media Folder, iTunes Music Folder, Mobile Applications Folder, Previous iTunes Libraries Folder, iTunes Library Database File, iTunes Library Extras Database File, iTunes Library Genius Database File, and iTunes Music Library File. I am now concerned as to the next step. I don't know where to move the iTunes media folder onto my new Macbook Pro. Should I be moving more than just the iTunes Media folder?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
