I gather that the panic wasn't reproducible at the Apple Store. Disconnect the USB storage devices and see whether there's any change.

After major files finally restored, I disconnected My Passport ext HD and flash drives... it still KP... hope to be more informed (or at least eliminated some ssubsequent factors) tommorrow... I have most KP reports on desktop... Thanks

Apple Genius indicated that major KP cause was defective 3rd party RAM. MacStore replaced both sticks of RAM. Result no KP until 10:00 hrs yesterday. Here's that KP:

If the panics continue, you should uninstall the Microsoft mouse software and disconnect your third-party USB devices, and if that doesn't help, go back to the Apple Store. The log still indicates a probable hardware fault.

What MS mouse software do I have? Where do I find MS mouse, & haven't a clue how to uninstall it. (I had used a MS 4000 Natural Keyboard in the past. Perhaps that software is still signalling some error). BTW I've disconnected ALL USB devices including BRCM2046 Hub.

Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the third-party developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.

Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, email the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.

If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.

Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

Below is the 19th KP: The only external hardware? attached is the USB photosmart printer. From this latest report are there other offending hardware issues contributing to "processor conext corrupt"? Last KP was 10 pm before com.microsoft.driver.MicrosoftKeyboard 8.2 uninstalled.

Back to Geniuses Friday. 5-year Apple Tech Sean immediately diagnosised fundamental Processor issue. Said Lee, their BEST tech would ***** and repair processor and that it was NOT a software issue... Logic board replaced and "multiple series of evaluations would be run before iMac returned to customer". Repair completed over night & return my computer within 12 hours! Problem Description/Diagnosis

Issue: System KPs constantly since MLB was replaced in September

Steps to Reproduce: Reproduced at bar on a kg OS. Just let it sit and it KPs. I checked the logs in the customers OS and found in excess of 29 KPs in the last day. All in process 0, CPU 1.

Proposed Resolution: Replace MLB, run ASD on a 25x pass and then run HD video in customers OS. Verify no KPs.

Cosmetic Condition: Good slightly yellowing display

Known Liquid Damage: No

Check-in Required: Yes

This is like the customer service we strove for when I was in hotel industry... similar to Nordstrom Care. Finally was told that Apple SHOULD have done response back in September after logic board was replaced originally! All is Well!
