i lost my iTouch 4th gen 64g and have no idea what my serial number what do i do?

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1, has a case with monster high on it

The SN will only help identify your iPod if it is recovered.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPhone and wif is on and connect go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- Apple will do nothing
