So my MBP has been waking up from sleep right after I put it into sleep mode for some reason.
According to the console it's Wake reason: XHC1.
After it wakes up to the login screen it then goes to sleep normally if I leave it, but choose apple menu - sleep makes it wake up every time right after.
Some sort of maintenance thing or is it a bug?
2012 15" MBP, ML 10.8.2 - all up to date.

Many years later, but I had this issue on Sierra, 27" Retina iMac.
Fixed by holding shift + alt, clicking the bluetooth menu item, selecting debug, then "reset the bluetooth module". All okay now, I hope.
In the Energy Saver preference pane, deselect Wake for network access, if selected. If there's no change, deselect Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer in the Bluetooth preference pane (under Advanced...)

You've probably fix this by now, but I'm going to leave a reply for the benefit of anyone else who might be reading this. The XHC codes appear to have something to do with USB ports, so you'll want to check to make sure that you don't have any devices connected to the USB ports that might be triggering a wake. In my case, it was a hard drive docking station that was left on, but did not have a hard drive in it and was making no noise so I wasn't aware that it was on. I also wasn't aware that the hard drive docking station would be communicating so actively with my computer.
XHC1 refers to bluetooth devices waking the computer, like a keyboard, mouse, or remote
