Apple sunset the iPhone 3G over a year ago.
The hardware is ancient in technology terms.
Upgrade the hardware.

I know its not in the market but 3gs is also not in the market. than why it supports all the ios version upto ios6
this is not done. I am not satisfied with thisapple's decision..
apple can do anything if they want to do...
The 3G was discontinued over 2yrs ago.
The 3GS was only discontinued about a month ago.
Apple made the decision that the 3G would not get anything newer than 4.2.1 because of reasons only they know.
Griping about it is pointless.
Speculating about why is against the terms of use of these forums.
The device is ancient... either accept that it will never get an update and live with it or buy something newer.
