Hello, I wanted to deleat my username from my account and have deleted something in my Root File and now it is impossible to start my computer as it won't accept any username or password. Also try to reboot from cd but doesn't work. Could someone help. Thanks. K.

Thank you for your answer but I can't even access to my desk, finder...
When I switch on the computer it asks for User Name and Password but as I have deleted some lines in the Root File I can't access to anything.
Nor can I reboot from the disc by pressing C !!
What do you suggest?

But I can see that even that might be impossible.
I presume you don't maintain a bootable clone backup on an external HD?
