    Thanks so much.  I'm a bit of a computer moron though.  How do I know I meet those requirements listed:

     

    • Mac computer with an Intel processor
    • 1GB of memory
    • 5GB of available disk space
    • DVD drive for installation
    • Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.

     

    i'm pretty sure i have 1gb memory but not sure about the disk space.  i have a cd drive but does that equate to a dvd drive?  internet works!  what is an "intel processor"?  sorry if this sounds stupid but i really have no clue...

    Check how much sapce is available on your hard drive Click the Apple, More INfo, About this Mac, Storage

    You don't know if your computer has a dvd drvive?

    when i click on the apple, then about this mac, then more info, there is no option for "storage".  i have a dvd drive.  (:

    Right Click on the Machintosh HD icon on your Desktop... Click on  Get Info... in the window that appears look at Capacity... Available.

    capacity 232gb, available 35gb.  i guess i can order snow leopard then!?

    one more question.  since i'm upgrading, i kind of want mountain lion.  isn't that better than snow leopard?  can i get mountain lion on my mac specs or would i need to get snow first?
