Is there a method to transfer photos directly from an iPhone 4S/ios 6 to a Dell Laptop running Windows 7.  My Dell laptop is a work computer and therefore, I can not download any software on it without company approval.

Can I download an app on the iphone that will allow this to transfer?

Regards,

Bill

You import pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.

Your iPhone works just like any other digital camera and is recognized as such on a Windows computer. Just connect it with the Apple USB cable and you can import the pictures as .jpg

iTunes doesn't allow use to copy photos/songs from iPhone to computer, it conly let you copy from computer to iTunes or device,

But you can use Vibosoft iPhone/iPad/iPod to computer transfer or iStonsoft iPhone to computer transfer app, both of them can export everything from device to computer.

i agree with roaminggnome, if you have itunes installed and just connect the device you should see a option of what you want to do and you could just click on "import pictures and videos" which then you would set up where to store it.

In fact, a lot of iPhone backup tools can transfer photos from iPhone to Windows computer. You can have a try MobiKin Assistant for iOS. It is a professional iPhone tool, you can transfer contacts, SMS, photos, music, video, podcasts, books, ringtones, etc from iDevice to computer quickly.

I think that my isssue is not being able to bring EDITED photos from my iPhone to my PC. I can successfully import/synch photos from the
iPhone "Photo Stream" to "Computer\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream\"
    and from the
iPhone "Camera Roll" (the home of edited photos) to C:\Users\[my name]\Pictures\[date]\
However, the "Camera Roll" pictures lose all modifications (red-eye, filter, cropping, etc,), I suspect that the images are not really edited on the iPhone, but just affected by a layer of image manipulations. Any help here?
