i agree with roaminggnome, if you have itunes installed and just connect the device you should see a option of what you want to do and you could just click on "import pictures and videos" which then you would set up where to store it.

I think that my isssue is not being able to bring EDITED photos from my iPhone to my PC. I can successfully import/synch photos from the
iPhone "Photo Stream" to "Computer\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream\"
and from the
iPhone "Camera Roll" (the home of edited photos) to C:\Users\[my name]\Pictures\[date]\
However, the "Camera Roll" pictures lose all modifications (red-eye, filter, cropping, etc,), I suspect that the images are not really edited on the iPhone, but just affected by a layer of image manipulations. Any help here?
