I have a Dodge Caravan 2011 with uConnect 130s RES. My iphones pair and operate correctly but the music will not stream over bluetooth. The music is intermittent, jerky and operates at about 2X normal speed when I can hear it. Dodge (of course) blames apple. Dodge has no software updates for this uConnect.
Has anyone had this problem?

Just got my 2011 VW Routan (Same Van just VW) but I am having the exact same issue. It seems from my research that there are a lot of these uconnect systems that are haveing issues with iphones. I can't imagine how it is apples fault when ALL my other BT devices work flawlessly with my iphone. I currently have a 4, getting my 5 in a week or so. maybe it will work better, but i plan to take it in and have it checked. I may try and pair it with one of the vehicls on the lot to see if the issue is consistant. I also read there is supposed to be a software update for the uconnect systems, and if that doesn't work, that they should replace the BT module, if it is even seperate from the radio. either way, they need to make it work they way it is supposed to, like ALL other BT devices seam to work.
Update: in, by chance, figured out that, at least with my system, the music streams fine as long as the screen on my phone is turned off try playing your music and then push the top button to put your phone/iPod screen to sleep. Hopefully, like mine, the music will play correctly.
I took the vehicle to the dealer and had them update all of the software for the radio, navigation etc. It was free and it resolved the issue.......it only took a year. By the way, your tip worked too. Thanks
