contextual menu a "move to" option.
Is there a way to add in the contextual menu a "move to" option on os x 10.8.2? Thanx

I apologize for answering without really answering, but just in case this is of use to you...
There is a relatively unknown keyboard shortcut for moving files. Select the file, press command-c for copy, then click onto the destination folder and press option-command-v to move it there.

The contextual menu already has a copy option, so no need for the shortcut keys. "move to" is much more practical, I thought mac was supposed to be easier than the other... Thats 1 point for the other :-)
Thanks anyway :-)
I installed MoveTo and it worked a few times and now i get the message
"The action “Get Selected Finder Items” encountered an error."
Use it as an example and create your own Automator service.
How do i do that? newbie here.
That worked, Thanks ! 🙂
That's great, thanks! It isn't on the contextual menu, but it is on the Finder menu.
