Power nap not working

Hello everyone,

I have been for a while trying to get my Macbook Air to do automatic system updates while on PowerNap. The option is on in Power Saving but still I go check after one day and it doesn't do the updates.

Any clue what might be going on?

Thank you for your reply.

I downloaded the SMC updated and got the error message "that my system does not support this software".

I think the firmware was already updated. On my system I have SMS 1.74f3

Still, days pass and updates are not done.

Any clues what's going on?

continue having the same problem. I left the computer plugged in to the powerplug for days knowing there was an update available. When I came back to check the computer had crashed and I had to force shut down and switch computer back on.

When I checked, update had not been installed.

Any clues what this might be or how can I fix it?
