new macbook pro retina seems slow (and other things)

Should I return my Macbook Pro retina?

Recieved my MPR in mid August and I am not that impressed. Are these normal issues or should I return it?

Macbook Retina with 2.3 i7,16G of Ram

1. Slow - The incode speed on video is slower than my iMac i5 (2.7 with 12G of Ram), I thought that the SSD and i7 would be speedier.

Final Cut, Motion, & Logic seem laggy. World of Warcraft is choppy with the settings at "fair" ( and quite honestly I was excited to run the retina on this game now that it is supported, but no luck)

2. USB - When syncing in iTunes I tried to load a 3.3 gigabyte movie onto my iPhone, hit "sync" and went to take a shower, a half hour later it was only about 1/8 of the way done. I stopped it and tried again thinking it was hung up on something, it took 40 minutes to sync 1.2 gigabytes. I decided to use the USB port on the other side of my mac and it only took about one minute.

3. Retina - If I am working any progam with contrast, then swipe over to the home screen I can still see the white parts in the screen, like a ghostly version of the previous screen?

Any help would be great. I will call Apple, but I wanted to see if these were common problems or if I just got a bad unit

Thanks
