I am considering upgrading my MBP (Late 2008) to Mountain Lion in a week or so and I was wonder if anybody knows if/when the download that is available within the Mac App Store has the 10.8.2 Supplemental Update incorporated into it or whether the offered build has been updated?

Don't know for sure. Regardless, if the current ML version on the App Store doesn't contain the supplemental update, you can run Software Update or download it from Apple as a standalone update.

I don't intend to perform the upgrade today, I'll probably leave it until next weekend at the earliest. I've just got 10.7.5 working properly this weekend. I'm doing a little prep at the moment.
Don't bother with the MAS. Just DL them manually. That way you can store them for future use:

Thanks for the postings. I've downloaded the updates separately, so that I have them on the disk.
It looks like I have an issue with Mozy Home Backup, which has been caused by the Supplemental Update for 10.7.5 - so going to sort that before I upgrade.
Thanks for the feedback. I only use Carbon Copy Cloner to make bootable backups. I would never trust my stuff to one of those backup sites. Easier to just spend the money on ext FWHDs and do my own. I also banned Time Machine, since it doesn't make bootable backups/clones.😉
