The app won't show up in Starbucks.
If you have the current Starbucks app version installed and have a Starbucks card, the app includes an option to make the card available in PassBook, or you can continue to make a purchase with your card direct with the app.
If you don't have a Starbucks card, you have nothing to add to PassBook.
I have the latest app and a card loaded. Do I need to create an account in the Star... app for passbook to work?
You have a card available when selecting My Card with the App along with the balance shown for the card?
If so, select Manage for the card.
Select Add to PassBook.
Select add for the created PassBook card.
Add to Passbook not an option, I guess that answers my question about having to "sign up" with the Starbucks app and get spammed by them along with everyone else I "sign up" with. Thanks for your help.
Have you upgraded to the latest version of the Starbucks app? The version that is compatable with the Passbook app is version 2.4.1. If you have the latest version, when you open the app it should automatically ask you if you want to link it to Passbook. If you have not signed in with the Starbucks app and added a card, there is no way for it to connect to Passbook.
