getting a new 4s from my employer to replace 3gs. anything i can use to put 3gs SIM data on my mac?

My employer supplies my phone. Ive got a 3gs and will get 4s in a week or so. I will be removing my SIM card from the 3gs to keep for myself. Any software out there that can transfer all the SIM data to my mac? Also, unintentionally deleted contents of SIM card about a month ago. I AM an idiot. I want to retrieve all that too. I am not tech savvy in the least so keep your reply simple. :') Thank you
