Q: Verifying iCloud

I cannot verify icloud on my iphone as I do not receive the verification email, neither do I have the Resend Verification Email button on my iCloud Preferences pane. What else can I do?

iPhone 4, iOS 6

After struggeling for hours understood that the email address must end with @icloud.com.
You need to go under icloud to add account and then choose iCloud>Accept free ID>fill your birthday date>continue till you create an account that must end with the suffix.iCloud.

Apple Application team did a very poor job here .every thing looks staning except this.
