I bought me an iPhone 3gs months ago, I broke my last one. And decided for another one. I got an email stating "Download the iOS 6 software update" well of course I'm going to upgrade it. I did, about a few hours later, I started having problems with it, I cannot send anymore pics, and I can't send out group messages, my apps keep X'ing out. My phone will shut off and shut back on when I have a phone call "Sometimes" I have tried regular reset, and hard reset, and taking everything off my phone, Still won't work.. I talked to apple support over phone, and they were not able to help me.. I have done so much stuff, and I feel like I'm making my phone worse... I have tried in so many ways to make my phone working. And everyone says "JailBreaking it" I am NOT jailbreaking my phone. It will mess it up, I am not sure what to do, I'm already thinking about either selling it or throwing it away, and I really don't wanna do that. I have seen that there's "SOME" problems with the iPhone 4s, with iOS 6. But As I researched it, I've only seen pics for the iPhone 5, and the iphone 4S. I cannot afford another iPhone, even if I did, I just bought this one. Please Help.....

    Basics from the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW.  I suggest you try these in order until your problem is solved.

    I had similar problems with mine too. It keeps shutting of andi clouldnt restore at iTunes. As this very moment, Im at Apple store ans waiting for help. i wil let u know ASAP

    I have the same problem with my iphone. I cannot upload any pictures via Instragram, Facebook, Twitter. It's says there's a connection problem. If I send the same message but without any pictures (just text) it will go through.

     

    I find this very strange, because it only happens with my home local wi-fi network. If I turn off the wi-fi, it works perfectly.

     

    Then if I connect to a different wi-fi network (for example at the office) it works fine too. It's only at home that I have this problem. I have reseted, restarted, the modem to no success.

     

    Any advice?

    I did those steps at the Apple Store without success. Sadly, they offered me a new iphone for a price. My phone was fine untill the iOS6 updade. It is not my fault and I am not done with Apple until my iPhone is fixed!

    See, what I don't get is that, it's Apple's problem.. They didn't go through the iOS 6 like they should have.. They should've tested it on all phone's and obviously they didn't.. If you look up the iOS 6.. There are no pictures of the 3gs on there.. They have the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4.. So it must not be capatable with 3gs. I didn't know that... We all didn't know that. It was sent in my settings as a normal thing.. When you have to upgrade.. I said sure.. I will upgrade. I did it.. And my phone *****. I will never ever buy another iPhone again. I promise you that. I will not have trouble with this anymore. I'm selling my phone.. And just getting a different one.. It's sad that they can't do nothing... When I bet they could do something.. But now they will be losing a lot of Apple customers. I am a VERY big fan of Apple.. But not anymoree... This truley *****.. I have tried everything. I deleted everything I had restarted it as new. And it did not work.. They should be able to give you a new phone or something.. I would've sat there and complained all day till they closed about this situation..

    I have done all of that.. My problem is not solved as you just seen the other post about the kid going to Apple store... not sure why Apple couldn't do anything.. But I will be paying a visit soon.

    I just finished a long phone call with the senior superviser from Apple. They are sending a new phone to me. Call Apple costumer service. Be ready to follow all steps one by one,  until they decide that the only way is to replace your phone. But they want to make sure that the problem is the new software.They were very helpful online, away better then at the store. It took me a few days but it has been solved. Dont seel your phone. Be patient.

    Yeah see that's still messed up.. I just called them last night.. Talked with him for about 20 min.. And they wanted me to call At&t... So I did this morning.. And fixing to call them again in a little bit.. Hopefully they can fix this. Fingers crossed... And will keep updated...
