What version of iPhoto do you have on each system? Which system is giving you this error?

on my laptop I have iphoto 11. On my imac i believe it was 5 or 6....it wont let me read what version I have because of that message that comes up and shading the 'about iphoto" link
Well when you opened the older iPhoto library with iPhoto '11 you were told that the library would be upgraded and would not be able to be opener by previous versions (like iPhoto 5 or 6 for example). You were then given the option to quit or to upgrade. You chose to upgrade. Therefore your library is no longer able to be accessed byiPhoto 5 or 6
You can use iPhoto Library Manager to try to downgrade the library. If it works you will have a library for your old iPhoto and a seperate and different version for the new iPhoto. You can not access one library from two different versions of iPhoto

thank you!
i upgraded to mountain lion on my imac thinking this would help with recovering my photos since iphoto will now be version 11, but it still has the same problem....any recomendations? BTW where/how do i find the library manager?
