So this morning, my phone has started to act weird. Mail won't open properly, it opens and then force quits.
Now every few minutes my handset is restarting itself. I've not installed any new apps as of late and this has only been happening since this morning. I've also noticed that my phone will come up with 'No SIM Installed'. It's done this a couple of times since yesterday morning.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 5. I have been playing this game called Pocket Planes and I went to open it last night and my whole phone crashed! Im not sure if the app had anything to do with it or not. It keeps on booting up and then starting over.. never actually fully opening up. I have not dropped it or anything. The sprint store opens up at 10:00 am and I will be there trying see whats going on.
I have Pocket Planes on my iPad 3 and that's fine. The latest app I've downloaded/played is Hay Day but I had that a few days before problems started. I've also noticed that this constant restarting had drained my battery no end. Usually around this time i'm at 50-60% but I'm on less than 20%
After having a look at the Apple website, they said do an iOS restore. So going to do that once I'm home to see if this sorts things.
Likewise, it has been about a week since i downloaded the app. My only question is how would I be able to do a IOS restore if my phone wont even come on?

This is the directions on how to restore the iphone with itunes. I am trying this now and hope it works. I will let you know how it works.
The restore didnt work. Apple is having to send me a whole new phone.
Aww too bad man! I restored my phone (albeit running into some difficulties with iTunes refusing to recognise my handset etc)
I had to use Tinyumbrella to force it into recovery but besides that it seemed to work out and it's been running as normal since
Have the same issue... Restarts every 2-3 minutes. Screen is glichy. Restored 6 times without resolving the problem (both as backup from icloud from before the issue occoured and as new.). It even restarts when restoring the iOS firmware.
Worked fine for 1 week then these issues started happening...
Anyone been able to resolve this?
I cant belive this my iphone 5 is doing the same thing keeps rebooting it self and i cant restore it smh
it's something with the software on the phone becase my other idevices work fine

It happened to me right out of the box yesterday. Iphone 5 was acting strange and weak compared to my old trusty 4. Fast rebooting at various, inconvenient times. Pretty S L O W as well. Apple ran diagnostics and are sending a replacement and waiving the $29 express replacement fee. Sounds like a hardware problem according to the genius.
figured out how to solve the problem.
First restore your iphone 5 in dfu mode. after you do this you would realize it still restarts. dont be worried, shutdown the iphone for 24 hours and do not restore from backup after switching it on. you would need to treat it as a new iphone. Hope it works for u guys cuz it worked for me twice. let me know if it works.
My iphone 5 also has the same problem. None of the above solutions are working. Does anyone have any other idea apart from taking the iphone for a service.
i have the same problem. i hope apple will do something about this...apple should give us a link to connect to repair it...it very upsetting
I am new user and I too have EXACT same problem on iphone 5 black version of the phone. It is running a latest authentic iOS 7.0.4 operating system and it's driving me nuts when call goes dead in the middle of talk.
Also all the applications are closed and memory is freed up, still the same problem.
