Passbook: Issuing a boarding pass

Hi All,

If a Airlines company has to issue boarding passes to all its customers and given that the reservation information (like seat no.) may change at a later point of time because of which the boarding pass should change, I have couple of questions in this regard:

Q1: Should every customer be issued a different pass with different pass type?

The reason, I believe, to issue a different passType is the device requests the server for updated passes by passing the PassType information and if it is same across it may be a havoc.

Q2: Should I rebuild the pass (i.e., modify json, sign and zip to pkpass) everytime I modify the Pass?

Please address the query.

Regards,

Aditya
