Yes, but it will require you to create a separate playlist for them in iTunes and order them in chronological order before syncing that playlist over to the iPod Shuffle.

Thanks for the quick reply. So I guess that when I simply sync my selected podcasts I will get the entire set, by program, which will be in reverse chronological order (newest to oldest) and there is no other simple way (other than your suggestion) to reverse that order?

Hey, I found a way. Merely add "Release Date" to the Library Podcast Headers and sort by oldest to newest. Then when you sync, the order shown on the iTunes library will also be the order on your Shuffle.

Just to clarify, I had this same issue and I had to go to the podcast "list" view in the computer iTunes library (so you can see all podcasts), then sort by "Release Date" so the newest were on the bottom, then sync to the iPod. Changing the order on the iPod Shuffle did nothing and changing the order in any other library view didn't help either. I have mine set to automatically sync podcasts from my library so it may be different.

You are right, I have always shown my library podcasts in list view and I also automatically sync...I think we can say this issue has been addressed.
