Annoying Preview keeps its antic history

It's not a recent issue... and this is why it's even more annoying.

When loading Preview (e.g. a PDF from Finder), it loads and shows some other stuff it "previewed" before. And it seems there is still no option to disable that odd behavior (?).

Sometimes it's even embarassing, showing a picture to a friend and, BAM, out of nowhere some contracts and a payslip also appear on the screen.

While that history can be deleted *each time*, sometime one may forget / not bother to perform that cumbersome task.

Anyway, just in case there is some progress in that department: is there a way to have Preview not load automatically its historical data?
