How do you get the icloud.com email that was created from me.com to work? If I try to use the new icloud.com email it does not receive emails. I created a new icloud alias, at it works fine. Only the icloud that was the me.com doesn't work.

Same problem here, but after trying many things I found this information on the Apple Support website
They do have over 150 million accounts to work through. It's bound to take some time for everyone's account to be upgraded.
iCloud appears from my end to be offline. I just checked the system status also, and it hasn't been updated since 9/5. iCal isn't syncing at all today. Lets hope they get it fixed pronto!

I have not been able to access my email except for off my phone for over 4 days.
If it isnt back by tomorrow I will move all of my services to google.
