I have the new macbook pro Retina ,
4-5 times a week the graphic is very laggy , in the games like World of Warcraft or Diablo i have 5-9 fps at the apple hotline we make many tries to find die problem and the last thing which helped was the SMC - Reset - so everytime when i get the problem i have to make the SMC reset thats not normal or ?
Someone have the same problem ?

I found that games are running on intel video card, not nvidia. But i dont know how to fix it 😟

Do you know if apple is investigating this further or reseting SMC 4 times a week is the final solution?
i was at the Apple Store and the Genius said they dont know this problem and they want to change my mainboard and hope this ist the solution : /
If that works I will get them to replace mine too, but I assume doing so wil take a few days?

Yes i found a post where you should install some not official drover but come on apple should handle this lake a exchange program, my MBP- Retina is 4 Weeks hold and i dont give it 5 days away for so a big repair work 😟

Nvidia 304 drivers can cause some serious damage to your OS, I had some driver issues and Apple replaced my retina screen which didn't fix it. Re-install of mountain lion resolved my issues, the apple genius suspected it was GPU related and wanted to keep my macbook again to test it. I had already left it in store for 5 days so I took it home and fixed it myself.
reinstall OS X dont solve my problem :/ only SMC ! 😟
same problem, only reset SMC works.
Sigh... gfxCardStatus doesnt work even if I set to discrete card only and still have to reset SMC. COMMON ON give us a proper fix APPLE.
