Q: my nano 2nd gen. is acting crazy..!!

it makes cliking sounds on its own (whether is on the base or on my hands),altering volume on its own,not allowing my to select songs (goes up and down the list on its own too,without stopping),or just go to the menu as I used to,not turning off every time.... a variety of issues...any suggestions,except to buy a new one,which will be last the resort? thanks

Have you tried doing any of the usual 5 R's of troubleshooting for your particular Nano to rule out the possibility of software corruption/glitches.

it helped but it didn't fix the problem entirely . it still acts crazy, but it is somehow managable. any other suggestion? please??

Not at this point as the 5 R's would have ruled out the possibility of any sort of software glitch or corrupted data. So at this piont it's almost 100% likely that the remaining issues are hardware related.
