Problem with Admin access to downloaded apps in Mountain Lion

I am using a full admin account on my MacBook, running Mountain Lion Version 10.8.2.

I have downloaded 2 applications and installed them.

When I try to open the applications, I keep getting the following message:

Cannot install required resources.

Your user account doesn't have sufficient access privileges. You will need to run this game once from an administrator account. Afterwards, you will be able to run it from this account.

What I do not understand is that I AM doing this from a full administrator account. ALL of the profiles I have on my laptop are full Admin accounts.

What am I missing?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

It sounds like you should run Disk Utility (from the Applications > Utilities folder) and do "Repair Permissions".

If that doesn't fix it, check System Preferences > Restrictions.
