Strange shrunken page layout in Excel

No matter what I do, I can't make Excel print a page at full size. The content is always squeezed to the left, and the page prints at about 60% of the correct size. I have double checked all Excel, and print settings, but I can't get pages to print properly.

I am wondering if anyone else hit this problem, and if so, how did they fix it?

I tried installing Office again, but it didn't help.

What we do not know ...

* What OS are you using?

* What printer are you using?

* Have you recently changed the printer settings?

* Have you recently upgraded your OS or the Office suite?

What you should also confirm ...

* Did you try doing a hard reset of the printer (following the manual for the printer)?

* Have you confirmed that you have the most recent print driver for your printer (especially if you just updated your OS)?

* Do you get the same problem if you do a Print -> Save to PDF?

* Do you get the same problem if you print from Word?
