A long time ago, I remember things like Mac OS 5-9, and buying SoundJam and using it until it left to become iTunes.  During those prehistoric days, there were things like easter eggs, emails from the CEO of SoundJam and open suggestions to Apple (sometimes as hacks or plugins) that sometimes were later part of the next OS.

But when Apple became a star, all that went away.  And that is of course understandable considering the platform changes and the immense library of software that exists now compared to the handful that was then.

But, it made Apple what it is today: fun and cool.

Have things changed so much that there is no more room for the suggestion box at Apple?  I can't find one.

Suggestions like:

Music App for iPad has no way of displaying Lyrics.  Do you know how long it took me to find, compile and add those to my iTunes library, and now there is no place to see them?

How about using 2 fingered gestures on the iPad, or even just a two fingered tap pulling up some things?  Maybe more gestures like what is offered with the touchpad?

How about suggestions for parental controls in Mac OS to include musical restrictions?

Anyway, does anyone know of a suggestion box for those of us who remember what it was like (ie back when dinos roamed the earth)?  I mean, where did the easter eggs go, anyway?

The ipad already has music,  video and Web parental controls under restrictions.

    You should read the manual.

The OP did write, "How about suggestions for parental controls in Mac OS to include musical restrictions? "

Which are already present, why suggest what already exists?

If it exists and the OP asked about where to send suggestions, then it's pretty obvious he did not know where to set it or where to send suggestions...

    Hey ChezMike,

I miss the Easter Eggs too! And I think you have some good suggestions, so please DO submit them to the link that rbrylawski sent you. I, like you, would like to believe that Apple does still does listen to it's loyal fans, and that they do use feedback when designing new and wonderful toys for us. (and I don't think that the fact that I believe in Fairies and Santa Claus has anything to do with it....)

So, you go ahead, friend - keep up that Apple spirit that we old-timers remember from the 80's.....If we keep the faith, I am certain that Apple will come through for us in "rainbow colors"!

    Cheers,

Here's a suggestion: Either amend itunes so that it's possible to zoom the page with a two-finger swipe or simply make the type bigger and darker.  As it is now, it's very hard to read and inhibits both browsing and purchacing.  Thanks for your consideration.
