Apple with "surprise, surprise" inside?

I'm reading on italian forums and blogs (www.zeusnews.it and http://laspinanelfianco.wordpress.com/2006/03/10/apple-e-tc-una-desolante-assenz a-di-smentite/)
that new MacTels have the infineon chips (a.k.a. Fritz) onboard. It also reads that all the contested features of these chips have not been activated yet but, there they are, ready to be used in a future. It seems that at present it only controls the autenticity of Apple hardware, in order to run (or not) OSX.
At people who's asking questions about this, Apple is not replying.
I just know that I have the right to not have a SPYING CHIP on my PERSONAL computer. And this is more important than any other issue.

Sorry, folks, I'm a Mac enthusiast, but I'm not buying a Mac (I'm not buying a toaster) if it's got a snooping security chip over which I'm allowed no control. And it seems I'm not alone, although I won't have to worry about removing tattoos. This abomination goes against the very concept of "personal computer". My computer is mine: it's not a playground I want to share with uncle Bill, the limousinati from Hollywood and the moguls of the music industry.

Yes, but the article claimed it was a board from a
single core iMac, not a mini. That's why I wondered
if it was a typo.

igrok, There is an intel core solo in the Mac mini
"entry level" and the same chip is speculated to

be
used in the iBook replacement machine.

As written on the link i've posted:
The Japanese page Kodawarisan shows pictures of an iMac with Dual Core processor. According to these photos, this Apple computer still contains an Infineon TPM. The markings of the 28-pin IC next to the Intel South Bridge... are hard to read, but the Infineon logo is clearly recognizable..
