Touch Pad is twitchy

Hi guys,

My touchpad seems to have taken a mind of its own in the past 24 hours. It clicks on its own, moves to the left and right, and is generally causing a lot of chaos as I try and do work. Is there a quick fix for this? Like a driver to install/uninstall?

I haven't installed anything before this began yesterday and haven't spilled anything anywhere near the computer. I'm stumped and it's really frustrating. I'd appreciate any ideas and fixes.
