I have a user travelling overseas and she asked if she rents a movie for 24 hours through itunes if she will be able to watch it on the plane if the plane has no wifi. I don't have an Ipad so I am unsure, is this possbile?
Yes. Many travelers rent movies for flights. Once the movie has been completely downloaded to the iPad, it can be watched offline.
So rented movies are downloaded and not streamed? Also if they are downloaded how are they considered rented wouldn't that be more like a pourchase? I just want to get and idea of how it works.
Yes, they are downloaded. 24 hours after you first start to watch them or 30 days after you download them, they expire and can't be used.
