AppStore provides old versions?

i'm using Cclenaer. Erased it on my MacBookPro & installed it from the AppStore. Thought it would be more convenient to let the AppStore provide me with the latest versions so i don't have to check from time to time. This time saving idea went wrong. The App Store provides Version 1.03.131 to it's users. The official Mac Version on the app's website is 1.04.148 for Mac. My questions is if anybody made the same experience in the App Store with other programms.

Not all i'm using are in and the few which i can find there are not up to date.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Hi ...

A word to the wise. Third party Mac cleaning utilities such as CCleaner can do far more harm to your Mac than good by deleting necessary system files.

Results of an ASC forum search for CCleaner here.

Your Mac runs maintenance for you in the background.

Better off uninstalling CCleaner.
